The time is flying by so quickly and I finally ordered our Christmas cards. It was hard to know what to say after the year we had, but I decided something a little sarcastic and humorous would work well. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!

Take some time to thank God for the blessings in your life this Christmas and every day of the year. If there is one thing I have learned through all of this is that there really are blessings even in the midst of a storm.

OK, I mean your family photo is beautiful, not so much the other picture. But that you can find humor through despair — I think that's kind of a beautiful thing, too.
